One-to-one

Tailored sessions that build lasting literacy skills.

Our one-to-one sessions are tailored to your child’s pace, abilities and interests, creating a personalised and engaging learning experience.

Using evidence-based practices and structured literacy programs, we build skills that last. We address any learning misconceptions and gaps before building on them to ensure your child is supported with skills and confidence to use in and beyond to classroom.

What we do

Every child is unique, which is why we use a variety of evidence-based approaches tailored to each learner’s needs and learning style. Regardless of age or ability, every session is structured to provide explicit teaching and practice across the three main areas of literacy: reading, writing, and spelling.

What to expect

Session Duration: 45 minutes. Shorter and extended session available upon request.

Our first session focuses on building rapport with your child and understanding their abilities, interests, and view of themselves as a learner.

We may complete diagnostic assessments and/or set goals together to foster ownership of their learning.

From there, we create a sequential, tailored scope and sequence to help address learning gaps, misconceptions and build on their skills and knowledge.
