A Bre C Education
Terms and Conditions, 2026
1. Acceptance Policy.
Enrolment at A Bre C Education is confirmed only when the following requirements have been met:
-
Payment for the student’s sessions has been received in full.
-
Submission of the most recent school report or other supporting documents, where applicable.
-
Completion of Medical and Emergency Contact Form.
Students will only be formally enrolled once all of the above requirements are fulfilled.
2. Payment
Full payment is required before the start of each term to secure your booking. If payment is not received by the due date or before the scheduled first session, A Bre C Education may be unable to hold your scheduled lessons for the term.
Split or fortnightly payment options are available, with consultation with A Bre C Education and are to be paid in advance to each session.
Please note, once payment has been made, refunds are not available for change of mind or unexpected events that may affect attendance.
3. Student Attendance, Refunds & Make-Up Sessions
All sessions are scheduled for the full school term in advance. By enrolling, families commit to attending their allocated session time each week.
A Bre C Education does not offer refunds or make-up sessions for any missed sessions, including those missed due to illness, holidays, personal commitments, or advance notice of absence. This policy applies regardless of the reason for non-attendance.
Session fees secure your child’s ongoing placement, tutor allocation, and program planning for the term.
4. Teacher Cancellations
If a teacher is unable to conduct a session due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances, A Bre C Education will notify you as soon as possible via email or text.
In such cases, you will be offered one of the following options:
-
A full refund for the missed sessions
-
A make-up session at a mutually convenient time
-
A credit applied to your account for the following term.
5. Drop-Off and Collection
Parents or guardians must drop off and collect their child from our premises, and students must arrive at their scheduled session time. Late arrivals will result in a shorter session, as sessions cannot be extended or rescheduled; in cases of significant lateness, the session may be forfeited.
Students must be collected promptly at the end of their session. Children dropped off early or collected late will wait in the designated waiting area; while a teacher will be present, individual supervision will not be provided. If someone other than a parent, guardian, or a person known to A Bre C Education is collecting your child, prior notification and written confirmation by email or text is required.
6. Emergency Closures
In the event of closure due to severe weather, power outages, health emergencies, or other circumstances beyond our control, we will notify you promptly by email or text. Where possible, a make-up session or credit may be offered; however, refunds will not be provided for such closures. A Bre C Education is not liable for interruptions caused by events beyond our control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, or emergencies. The safety and wellbeing of our students and staff remain our top priority.
7. Medical Conditions and Allergies
Parents or guardians must inform A Bre C Education of any medical conditions, allergies, or additional needs before their child attends sessions. A completed Medical Information Form, including clearly labelled medication and written instructions (e.g., EpiPens or inhalers), must be provided prior to the first session.
A Bre C Education is not responsible for administering medication without prior written consent and clear instructions.
8. Behaviour Expectations
A Bre C Education is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment. While healthy emotional expression is encouraged, behaviours that compromise the safety or wellbeing of others, such as failing to follow safety instructions, inappropriate physical contact, offensive language, or bullying, will not be tolerated.
By enrolling, parents and students agree to follow our behaviour policy. Parents or guardians will be notified after the first incident, and continued inappropriate behaviour may result in the student’s enrolment being forfeited to protect the wellbeing of all participants.
9. Photography and Media
By accepting these Terms and Conditions, you grant A Bre C Education permission to photograph your child during sessions for marketing purposes, including our website and social media. Images will not show your child’s face and will focus on their (unnamed) work and learning. All photographs remain the copyright of A Bre C Education unless otherwise agreed in writing.
10. Property and Damages
A Bre C Education is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings. In the event that a child deliberately damages property belonging to A Bre C Education, the parent or guardian will be held responsible for the full cost of repair or replacement.
11. Communication
A Bre C Education strives to keep families informed of any important updates or changes. All official communication will be sent via email or text message, so please ensure your contact details are current to receive timely information.
12. Student Assessment and Progress
A Bre C Education assesses students based on our programs, the science of learning framework, and in alignment with the relevant curriculum. Assessments are used to inform teaching, guide learning strategies, and tailor support to each student’s needs.
Please note that while we track progress internally, we do not provide formal reports or overviews of achievement outcomes. Assessment information is used solely to enhance learning within our sessions and to support individualised instruction and growth.
13. Feedback and Student Progress
A Bre C Education is committed to keeping families informed of their child’s progress. Parents and guardians are welcome to briefly discuss session focus at the end of each session, and an optional 10-minute progress review is available at the end of each term. Students will take their learning books home at the end of the term to support ongoing communication and skill reinforcement. Informal progress updates may also be provided throughout the term via verbal feedback, text, or email.
14. Learning Expectations
A Bre C Education’s teachers deliver instruction grounded in professional experience and science-based learning practices. While we are committed to providing high-quality support, student progress depends on individual needs, attendance, and engagement. As such, specific academic results cannot be guaranteed.
15. Enrolment Continuation & Session Allocation
A Bre C Education makes every effort to secure your child’s current session placement for the following term. Parents and guardians will be contacted partway through the term to confirm whether they wish to continue into the next term.
While we aim to maintain consistency in session times, tutors, and group structures, A Bre C Education reserves the right to make changes if required due to enrolment numbers, staffing, or operational needs.
Parents and guardians are responsible for communicating any requested changes to their child’s enrolment or session times before the end of the current term.
16. Tutor Allocation
At A Bre C Education, we value the importance of strong relationships and consistent support for our students. However, we are unable to guarantee a specific tutor for the full duration of the year, as changes may be required due to staffing availability, illness, or operational needs.
17. Contact with Classroom Teachers and External Professionals
To support effective planning and continuity of learning, A Bre C Education requires the most recent school or early learning report (where applicable) prior to accepting enrolment. With parent or guardian consent, A Bre C Education may also contact classroom teachers or relevant external professionals directly to gain further insight into a student’s learning needs and strengths.
Any contact made is solely for the purpose of supporting the student and, where appropriate, aligning learning goals and instructional focus with those used in the student’s school or early learning setting. Communication will occur only with parent approval and in accordance with our Privacy and Confidentiality Policy and the Australian Privacy Principles.
18. Termination of Enrolment
A Bre C Education reserves the right to terminate enrolment at its discretion in the event of ongoing behavioural concerns, non-payment, or failure to comply with organisational policies.
19. Updates to Terms
A Bre C Education reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions. Families will be notified of any significant changes prior to them taking effect.
20. Acceptance of Terms
By signing below and proceeding with payment for any services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions outlined here and available on our website.
