Handwriting Groups
Foundational skills such as correct pencil grip, posture, and letter formation are often not explicitly taught in the classroom. Yet, these are crucial for developing confident, fluent handwriting.
While we’re not Occupational Therapists, our handwriting groups are thoughtfully designed to build strong foundations for improved letter formation and handwriting. In these small focused sessions, students work with an experienced teacher to learn, practice and understand the correct formation of each upper- and lowercase letter of the English alphabet.
By supporting these skills, we help children build the foundation for clear, consistent writing and long-term confidence and success in writing.

Session Information
Our Handwriting Groups are suitable for all Primary aged children. Each session runs for 30 minutes and takes place over the course of a school term.
We limit each group to a maximum of 5 students to ensure focused, explicit instruction and personalised goal setting.
Session times are flexible, with both timing and group sizes adjustable to suit individual needs.
